Continuous Skiver for Any Joint Type with Gluer, Dryers and Tape Applicator

The skiving machine type CSM07-L processes paper and cloth narrow belts. Even though ideal for narrow belts, the machine can be equipped to work with wide belts. The CSM07-L is indicated for converters with medium-high productions.

Technical Data

  • Automatic continuous cycle with a feeding conveyor belts system, at variable speed
  • Ideal either for overlapped joints or butt joints
  • Cycle with variable speed up to 12 m/min. (367 FPM)
  • Standard working direction from left to right
  • In the standard version, the machine can be provided with a maximum of 9 working units and 2 gluers (roller NGA-15 or spray NSA)

Options

  • Infrared oven, 2400 mm length, with stepless regulation, installed after the gluing unit
  • Simple inserting table for 1500 mm wide belts
  • Nylon roller table as support for long and for wide belts on hinges to be swinged up or down

ATA—Automatic Tape Applicator

The tape is applied after the belt has been processed by the gluing unit and drying devices. The tape is driven automatically and applied to the belt lap. The tape ends are the same length of the joint.

SAJ-M—Semi-Automatic Joining Station

The machine can be equipped with semi-automatic joining station and continuous press BPN.

  • After being processed by working units, gluer, oven and tape applicator (optional) the belts automatically stop in joining position
  • The operator takes the free lap and perform the joint manually
  • The closed belt is then processed by the continuous press BPN
  • The press beam is heated
  • With the addition of this device, productivity of 10 belts/minute for 310 x 440 mm belts can be reached
