Continuous Press for Short Belts

The continuous press type BPN is designed to press the joints of cloth and paper narrow belts. The BPN machine is indicated for converters with medium-low productions.

Technical Data

  • Jointing and pressing in one operation
  • Actual pressure on abrasive is about 1.2 daN/mm2 (comparable to a conventional roller press or to a standard beam press)
  • The abrasive belt is aligned and pressed through a transport belt (standard belt with low purchase cost) which is pressing on the grain side and ensures the good quality of the pressing process; machine allows a fast belt change
  • Maximum joint length 450 mm
  • Minimum belt length 280 mm with a 90° joint
  • The lower pressing bar is provided with a vacuum system for an easier jointing operation and is heated up to 80 °C with thermoregulator
